Each of our week long intensive training courses have been developed by long established experience tradesmen, to give you the essential skills required in order to complete your own projects or help you set up on your own in business. The courses are 100% hands on so you are learning the fundamental skills required in order to get a professional finish.
These hands on courses are designed for adults looking at either a change of career or who are looking to learn new skills in order to cut costs for example we always have existing trademen on our courses who are looking to learn new skills so they can either cut costs on there projects or alternatively they do not want to wait and rely on other tradesmen to come and do jobs on a project and potentially be held up again costing money. Anyone 16 or older can go on these courses. Please remember you are paying to come on this course so please do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you like as we are here to help.
Courses Covered in our week long training programs consist of the following courses:-
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Bricklaying
- Carpentry
- Kitchen Fitting
- Plumbing
- Basic electrics
Once you have completed one of these courses you will get a certificate, a portfolio of your work for you to build up and a book to complement the course covering what you have learnt. Any of these courses can be taken Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.30pm, alternatively it can be spread over two weekends on Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
It is important that safety boots and suitable work clothes are worn on all of these courses, all tools and materials are provided on all of our courses.
If required we are able to arrange accommodation for you to stay in this is £30 per night in a local clean and family run bed and breakfast.
