From our purpose built plumbing department we are able to deliver the city and guilds 6129 level 2 technical certificate, this course gives both the practical and theory underpinning knowledge leading onto the NVQ level 2 in plumbing. This is the first step for any individual who is looking at becoming a qualified plumber.
The five modules that are covered on the City and Guild 6129 technical certificate are:-
Module 1 – Covers basic plumbing skills such as joining copper and plastic pipes and bending pipes etc
Module 2 – Domestic installations, this module uses the skills learned in module 1 to fit fully operational sinks, toilets baths and showers and all associated plumbing.
Module 3 – Hot and cold water storage, in this module you will be taught about working with cylinders, header tanks and various other associated water storage systems.
Module 4 – Steel pipe, this module covers cutting, threading and joining all aspects of steel pipes and its uses in plumbing.
Module 5 – Sheet lead weathering, this module covers all apects of lead work, starting with lead welding and working onto stepped flashing and all other lead work.

BPEC water regulation
We give you a home study pack that is a comprehensive manual covering all twelve modules with self test packs. We then bring you in to our training centre to go over what you have learned before sitting the assessment, this is an open book multi choice paper. On Successful completion you can proceed to register with the local councils to put in for contract work.
Solar Energy Training
Course Objective
The course provides the knowledge on how to install a solar PV system and takes into consideration the majority of systems installed in the UK investigating the different system configurations, components and operating characteristics. The course targets aspects which are particular to solar PV systems giving operatives the confidence to select, install and maintain systems.

Entry Requirements
This course is designed for those with electrical experience at least to Domestic Installer (Part P) standard. Other academic qualifications may be accepted. Those without any formal qualifications, but suitable experience may be eligible.
